Dr. D.I. Adeagbo


Adeagbo David Ibikunle has a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE, Physical Education/Biology) from Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, B.Ed degree in Physical and Health Education from University of Ilorin, Ilorin;M.Ed degree in Physiology of Exercise from University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria and Ph.D degree in Physiology of Exercise, from Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria.  He is a teacher per excellence.  He joined the services of University of Ado-Ekiti as an Assistant Lecturer in December, 2007.  He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Human Kinetics and Health Education, Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria.  He teaches Human Kinetics and Health Educationcourses and supervices projects at both undergraduate and Postgraduate levels.  He has published thirty articles in Local and International reputable indexed journals and attended various Local and International conferences.He is a member of various National and International bodies  such as,  Nigerian Association for Physical and Health Education, Recreation, Sports and Dance (NAPHER-SD), International Council of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, Sports and Dance (ICHPHER-SD), NigerianAssociation of Sports Medicine (NASSM), Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), Red cross Society and International Society for the Advancement of Kinanthropometry (ISAK).


He has served and still servicing in various capacities in both the Department and Faculty of Education, Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti.  His research interests include Clinical Exercise Physiology and Children fitness and Exercise.  His hobbies include; Sports and games, Exercise Laboratory fitness programme and construction and maintenance of sports facilities.  He is married with children.
